Review Sony for motorola sale cell phones tundra runs

I called Tmobile Customer service. Its not a blow caused by Tmobile. In , Motorola divested its whole semiconductor business to form Freescale Semiconductor. With our comparison tool, you can look at phones with the following bonus features: I suppose that may be why they sat out of the Mhz auction.

Might want to lower it and got with a 3 year payoff plan. Or am I missing something? Looking at new Series 3 watches for myself and sig other but am not sure how much the additional lines will cost on the account….

T-Mobile Jump — Nevermind thought the upgrade program was something else. T-mobile jump is to help someone who owns a phone to jump early. The Apple program is more to JoD which is a lease. I believe it works in the same fashion and you can upgrade every 12 months.

Looks like T-Mobile is pulling back this time. All three were in pristine condition. I traded in 6 phones and only one of them had an issue they claimed there was water damage. So I ended up better than if they had just accepted it normal.

They paid off both. A forth is the charm. Yeah either way they are getting paid lol.. Its good for me because I give the 2 phones to family members who use it on tmobile pre paid plans. Not buying an 8 unless they give the trade in for my 7.

I will just wait for the V30…. Every other iphone has had a bogo deal in the past, this one wont be an exception. Tmobile is not just going to just stand by and let that pass. Millions of people will pay for this phone.

Well there is definitely a difference between the low-end phones and flagships in terms of speed alone, not to mention the features. The market determines the price, and as long as people continue to be okay with the increase in prices, the trend will continue.

Please advise me on what those wants and needs are. I am far from a fanboy to any tech company. I just like Technology. Apple, Google, Samsung, LG. How is day to day usage. How is it for what I use it for.

I have the 7 Plus now, but I thought it was a lackluster event and not enough to get me to get it. Nope, neither does the Note 8. They sure know how to take our money. Apple is the worst phone and company.

Adults should have more options in hardware and software. You people are becoming a parody of yourselves. You say the same exact thing every year. People buy what they like best and for most people who can afford it the IPhones works best.

What do you mean? Samsung artificially restricts things in software just to justify the higher price tag. All this Apple hate, and Samsung is the one who I feel, gives less of a crap about me as a user of their products.

I got the GS8. But No, Samsung has decided if I want this new software feature, I need to get a new device, even if my current device can run it. I give a rats ass about the Samsung Note. I personally believe ppl have too much of a phone.

Whats the point of having the Note if you barely use the S-Pen. Whats the point of spending 1K for a locked phone lmfao. At least android gives you the option to download third party apps without having to root the device.

My comment was not ever intended to influence anyone. My comment is my perspective on the article. Also, ppl buy whats trendy. Due to my job, I use both a high end Android, and a High end iPhone. Outside of Downloading Emulators, and Changing the order of my home screen icons… What restrictions?

Let see… I suppose there is also.. As stated above, You have choice. No body is forcing you to get an iPhone. Can you download apps that not in the store and run it without jail break..

Can you download videos from the web by long pressing the video in the browser. I mean apple products are over priced and behind in the technical features that it provides in its products. Did they put touchscreen on their laptops and desktops yet?

I was hoping for a full price trade in like they did last year. Oh well I guess I will stick with the 6S Plus. I rather get the LG v30 which supports it. I actually did go back to Android. It was fun in the first month, albeit occasionally frustrating as any ecosystem change is going to be.

In my opinion and I can back this up with my own personal experience, Apple simply does it better than android. Especially on the basics like iMessage. My preference is stock Android over any other platform.

And there was a lot of things i appreciated about it. But the random insane slowdowns and lag, the Notification system that kept bothering me about certain emails I had already dismissed. I appreciate the freedom and customizability that android can provide..

But The lack of polish just made the every day use wear on me. People made similar arguments here about band 12 not being needed, but T-Mobile was way ahead of schedule on deployment which left iPhone 6 and 6 Plus users with obsolete equipment in short order.

Are you talking about the mhz spectrum band? Apple is always about six months to a year behind on the latest LTE band support because of the quantity they have to sell and how early they have order them for the massive supply chain.

According to the Mhz timeline, it will not be fully deployed until well into Band 12 was cleared over a year ahead of schedule. I do notice that Apple tends to lag behind adding support for technologies like LTE bands on the iPhone.

Luckily all phones support Band 5. I suppose that may be why they sat out of the Mhz auction. I have always purchased iPhones in the past all cash. If I do he eip, do you have to purchase their insurance for the duration of the payments?

I also believe if you want to pay it off early you cant just pay like 10 extra one month. You have to pay the full balance when you want to payoff early. You can make EIP payments whenever you want to.

Directly towards any device or accessory. Thanks…they must have recently changed it. I know you can prepay JOD payments. Face ID alone and swiping up is more inconvenient then just pushing a button.

Just my 2 cents. You can tap the phone to wake it and then it scans your face from an angle to unlock it you can also enter your passcode. I have used tructed face aka face recognition, fingerprint reader, LG knock etc..

The most effective and efficient is the fingerprint scanner. Now the LG knock feature it is just plain cool and awesome. I think all of us expected nothing less, so yeah…. I have no opinion either way on these devices, TBH.

At least from a Value proposition. Get the one that does what you need and want. Apple nor T-Mo Force you to pay these prices. Do you have to do it in store or can it be done online? Right now, T-Mobile is in the early stages of rolling out a brand-new MHz network nationwide.

The first sites are already online, and T-Mobile is expecting to cover a million square miles by the end of They really have built it up like no ones business! Let me get this straight. LOL Like I said a month ago, theres something odd about you.

Youre a mod and you are on a Tmo fan site, but the only time we hear any of your meager thoughts are when people respond to attacks of the company. You seem to relish taking the side of these anti people.

All I know is youve been gone for 2 weeks. You come back and your first post is a ridiculous spelling correction directed to a response to a original post filled with bad spelling and grammar.

I would try and figure out what the agenda or angle youre aiming for with this approach, but I dont care enough at this point to do the research. Maybe I will someday…. Oh wow, what a well thought out and complete response to my post.

LOL Suffice it to say, you are not a moderator in the traditional sense and Ive watched you for long enough. You dont mod abusive posts, you dont try to encourage any decorum. Your replies are always directed at people who respond to these original posts which in normal forums would be moderated.

So yeah, what do I really think? I think you think the anti people add hits to your site. Im guessing the motivation for this non-moderation moderation is the oldest motivation in human history. If it bleeds it leads right?

Need to gin up some abusive anti posts in there to keeps things lively and keep those page views up? The problem with you is not necessarily that you do this, we all have to eat. Now if I were to do it, you would never even know I was doing it.

Id quietly keep the abusive anti posts, but Id throw in a few reassurances that you are infact really a mod. They hide in the blackness too. The bandwidths were used, and most are still being used. Eh, VZW is grossly over-rated.

You really have no idea what your talking about. Look at Verizons new plans. Their more expensive and limiting video streaming to p. Unless, you pay more? Heck, even with that it tops out at only p.

They do a report every six months. In the past VZW was the clear winner. However, the most recent report has TMO clearly ahead. Of course your coverage may vary depending on where you live and travel. I was with VZW for years, but no more.

Im on Verizon and while they do have coverage most places i go where i live in the mountains their internet sucks. Its so slow its unusable in places where it used to be good. Mostly since they gave back unlimited and I think it broke the network.

I also have T-mobile and their service has improved very much around here and I usually have much better internet speeds and as soon as it gets a bit better with coverage I will say good bye to Verizon finally.

OK mhz is band 12 … mhz is band 71 … Does anyone how how to check what bands it has before buying??? For example S7 edge vs V20 and Note 8 vs V Once whatever phone you want is announced and the specs are released, you can find them all over online.

Or if tmobile has it listed under the phone options online then you can check the specs there too, and see which bands it has. Like Jason said they will start having coverage there end of The reason they took so long to come in WV is because they never had low band spectrum in that state till mhz and it would not make sence to cover the state with mid band spectrum since the state has a very low population.

Also its a harder state to deploy equipment in certain parts because of the quiet zone. I find it funny that all this is going on. I know numerous contractors that built the mhz project in the new york metro are for them that haven gotten paid.

This guy and others at TMO have done absolutely nothing to help them get paid for the efforts. There is one vendor out there that owes over companies money and T-Mobile will not help in any way for them to collect. A few companies lost everything.

Thanks for nothing TMO. Unfortuately, there was no option because it was spread over a course of a few years that all just added up and then payments just stopped completely. And in this industry and with day pay nets money get get very high in that time.

A few contractors are out of business. Regardless of the situation TMO should be able to help out for the people who have done the right thing by them and have proof of al work performed. It was very strange to come across that ad on Craigslist!

But as for this new service, I was traveling across Wyoming last week. So issuing a marketing press release about service that is not launched is very pre-emptive. The person cashing it thinks their account looks great until it bounces..!

Additionally mhz requires new phones much like Band 12 did a few years back. No new phones support it yet anyway. What are you talking about?? Thats almost always owned by companies that do nothing but that and lease space on the tower to providers.

That is a lie. What are you smoking on? They have their own Towers. So therefore your information was incorrect. Tmobile probably subcontracts out the work or hires someone else that does it. Big corporations have literally thousands of systems in place to handle employee payments and packages.

Its why rural markets will get it before urban. After I paid the bill, I asked the store rep what they do. I was baffled at that. I switched to Sprint who roams on Verizon for no extra price. Sprint also allows an upgrade to an iphone 7 after a few months and keep the Promo pricing!

Then your stuck either paying more monthly for the service plan or cancelling and paying out full price on the phone s. Thats been Sprints tactic for the past 2 years. For example on their current promo the fine print says: Sprint works everywhere as in what way?

Does it cover throughout every single building within each city throughout your whole state or do you mean that it covers only the areas that you so happened to have bern lucky to get services out in that time?

Sorry, but your information is incorrect my Dear Friend. Sprint does not get excellent services everywhere throughout the whole USA. I saw the ad on YouTube I thought it was too good to be true. I just wonder how it stands against Xfinity coverage?

The only thing I too much notice it on is app downloads…but even sometimes with YouTube videos, because Band 12 can get quite slow like 10mbps or less. Verizon was Bell Atlantic, remember when they broke up them up into the baby Bells?

How can you be there from the beginning if you are semi new to the market? Easy answer, that was almost decades ago the GTE Mobile was operating. Phones, available spectrum, and the technologies behind them have shifted significantly.

But he said the same hard work as Verizon, Verizon inherited its network as one of the baby bells. Inheriting something is not hard work. Band 66 is for AWS 3. No phones for band 71 are commercially available yet. Thanks for the info, I always appreciate factual unemotional answers, which is what we normally get in the discussion threads.

Thanks for facts I wanted to know really bad because I want to get another phone soon. By any chance do you know if Motorola Z2 Force will have that 71? According to T-mobile, the first phones to support the new band will be out later in the year.

True, but most people will think they missing out on something,I just want to get new phone for security reasons. I was looking at Asus phones but the reviews on them are so-so. It will include B That may be the note 8 he has in his hand eh?

Looks like lg v Does LG use the stock dialer? No but lg will make next pixel 2 xl.. Pixel 2 XL…stock Android 8. The article said LG or Samsung…. But will tmo carry the Pixel 2? If not then this is not the phone they are referring to….

U rite but remember lg will make pixel 2 wish more then like lg v30 will have similar future. Would love to see them actually do it. It says Lg and Samsung… Nothing about the Pixel…. Pixel XL is being made by LG.

And you know that tmo will offer it in store??? Is that a serious statement? Just like the S5. No need for and mhz on the same tower in rural areas. They travel about the same distance. Plus LG is making the larger Pixel anyways, so technically it could still be true.

Or technically not true…. ND is verizon territory. Likely not a priority competitor for them. My S8 cant do this? Is this better than Band 12?

The only thing I too much notice it on is app downloads…but even sometimes with YouTube videos, because Band 12 can get quite slow like 10mbps or less. By Dennis and Helen on February 6, I reiceved this phone thru Amazon and I was impressed to get in 2 days with everything in the box.

I have had several phones and was concerned about the stubby antenna. Living in a rural area and needing a rugged phone the signal was my most important feature. I had both my phones side by side while driving around and moving around in my home and in all cases the Tundra had 1 bar more singnal even when my other phone had no bars allowing the tundra to make a clean call.

I also like the new blue tooth stereo feature which hooks up twice as fast as my older ATT phone. The stereo feature is great for using ear buds while riding the motorcycle or in the car. Another feature I use is hooking up this phone the the pC to download photos and music to and from the phone.

This is done with a simple USB cord. To many good things to mention but I will say you will love this phone if you want a rugged phone that is waterproof and gets a great signal. You will have to decide if you are going to use the features but they are there if you want them I reiceved this phone thru Amazon and I was impressed to get in 2 days with everything in the box.

You will have to decide if you are going to use the features but they are there if you want them. Farmer on April 4, Just as tough as it advertises. The first day I got it I ran over it with my F Pickup, froze it in the deep freeze, soaked it in hot water for 30 minutes, threw it in the air as high as I could allowing it to drop on asphalt 5 times, and beat it with a rubber mallet.

No problems at all after all that abuse. This is the phone for me. By Chris Anderson on August 11, I just destroyed my 2nd tundra by water damage, I bought one on the 1st day they came out so I have been using the tundra quite along time now.

It is tough, I have dropped it from heavy equipment in quarry, only to recover it from the mud after being run over with no damage. Speakerphone is good, volume is good for noisy environments. Texting is terrible, camera is mediocre at best.

Hate the ATT software, as mentioned regarding contacts and games you can not remove. No one seems to be able to hack this phone either. Phone does not always turn off, must remove battery, lacks feaures like Sleep, calendar, notes etc impractical to use.

My 1st phone was fully submersed for at least 1hr. My 2nd phone fell down an open toilet pipe, not full of water and phone was recovered within 1 hr. The hinge is a weak point, it breaks when dropped but that only makes the clamshell floppy.

I will not be getting another tundra, paid full retail both times. Next phone will be a Sonim. Get fast answers from reviewers. Please make sure that you are posting in the form of a question.

At least from a Value proposition. Get the one that does what you need and want. Apple nor T-Mo Force you to pay these prices. Do you have to do it in store or can it be done online? Right now, T-Mobile is in the early stages of rolling out a brand-new MHz network nationwide.

The first sites are already online, and T-Mobile is expecting to cover a million square miles by the end of Lower frequencies travel further and penetrate buildings better, which all adds up to superior coverage, especially inside buildings or in rural areas.

T-Mobile is planning on having MHz coverage over 1,, square miles by the end of this year, and by the end of , it will play a big part in its national coverage — unless you have an iPhone X. It would be irrational for T-mobile to assume inclusion of a brand new frequency band under such short notice and they probably planned for this.

Perhaps they will come close but by then the majority of popular devices will likely contain the new frequency band. Since they are a successful business this is unlikely to be the case. You head back to the store and they confirm your fears.

I would say that problem is solved by informing oneself as a customer. I worked as a manager in a major commercial retailer and I can tell you that the genuine salesperson comes few and far between. I did my research and found the best quality for the price I could afford.

Same goes for my phones. I buy a phone that I want because of what the device is and does. A customer should be their own advocate and educate themselves about the purchases they make. Its not a blow caused by Tmobile. Apple is too stupid to put in antenna updates quickly like everybody else seems to be able to.

Thats what happens when you stretch yourself out to areas you dont know about like basebands. You have a lag in development times. They should have bought it from Qualcomm. Its everybody who bought spectrum at the mhz auction.

And thats a lot of companies. Regardless itll be there next year. And your entire contention that is required for a decent tmo lte experience is complete and utter horsesh-. Every single of one us on tmo today have non lte and we are all just fine.

Its just additional spectrum and the brand new coverage part of it is only for brand new service in limited rural areas. The rest is infill. Go peddle your cr-p somewhere else. Apple is just slow man. Look at what was delivered on the new iPhone just now: The feature was available for years prior to Apple, with with little to no adoption.

Apple built the entire Apple Pay network and engaged merchants and payment processing networks and financial institutions to support it and support it as a card-present transaction for the lower exchange rate.

Now, all of a sudden, NFC is everywhere. Samsung devices are full of growing pains as they implement stuff for the sake of being first, and hardly thought out. Samsung phones are so often full of great ideas poorly executed Bixby, Retina Unlock, S-Voice, half the weird features nobody uses on the GS devices.

Who is supporting Band 71? Did Apple list the boat here? So your entire response to the many points I made are: Apple buys their modem? LOL Hahaha I really dont particularly care if they make it, buy it, or grow it out of a clay pot, the bottom line is they are deficient and they lag in the modems they put in each year because it isnt their area of expertise.

So yeah, if theyre outsourcing, go get on the phone and tell them to outsource to a better modem chipset maker. The least credible of tech blogsites…. Their writers always use controversial headlines designed to exploit the animosity between Android and iOS users.

You can read their articles and get a laugh or two. I live in South Louisiana and am fortunate to have great service around the state, even in the country. There are one or two spots in the city where theirs is a weak or nonexistent signal, but they are rare.

While lack of support for Mhz is not good, that million square miles of new coverage is over very sparsely populated areas of the country where it is easiest to get that spectrum in use, and quickly, because there are no interfering TV stations, and also, hardly any population exists.

Next year, more populated areas will begin to be covered, and the next model iPhone will have this capability built in. We have to remember that these phones are designed years in advance and chip design and fabrication were done probably before T-Mobile even purchased the MHz spectrum, and were begun being manufactured months ago.

I seriously doubt that Apple received any advanced notice that T-Mobile would try, and be successful, at buying that spectrum. There will be phones from other manufacturers that were designed and manufactured after the spectrum sale and roll-out began that customers can use in the meantime.

You should never Trade in your phone with a carrier; they rip you off.. Sell it online for twice what T-mobile offers. You will lower you monthly bill too. Just to clarify you have the original Jump!

JOD is the one where you lease the device not finance it. If the 6s is on the list you will save a ton of money. On the iPhone X, based on how Apple Pay works the user will now have to double click the right hand button, raise the phone for Face ID authenticate, then move the phone to the NFC terminal to pay?

Correct me if that is not the process. If so, this is even more inconvenient, compared to just putting the phone on the NFC terminal and pressing a button. This might be a hair more inconvenient, but it is safer and will always work.

This pisses me off. I got to give it up to Apple. Most people talk, text, email, web browse, take pics and play games on their phone. The turning point came during a meeting on July 6.

Go further and penetrate buildings, elevators and toilets? The Note will probably just support it out of the box…. Note 8 Wont support Band Samsung galaxy s8 and Note 8 do not support Band 71!

I saw the fcc spec page. Odd thing was that band 71 was no where to be found listed. Oh I knew what you meant: Did you read his comment? He said the 48 states. Do you know that? Now when I get a new phone I can make a road trip.
